PMR

is just 2 weeks away.

My subconscious kept nagging me about that when I am typing this, or doing anything else that is unrelated to study.

The thing is, it is holiday now. NOW. Holidays aren't meant for reading things like Sej, Geo, Novel or anything that you are absolutely not interested. Well, maybe except this time.

The last time that I would go through Geo and KH books. No not Sej. Sej is compulsory in F4 and would still be haunting me along my studies. T.T

Anyway here is something amusing. You may seen this before as it is something popular.

=========================================================

It's not the fault of student if he/she fails because the year ONLY has 365 days...

typical academic year for a student:
1. Sundays - 52 Sundays in a year, you know Sundays are for rest. Days left 313.

2. Summer holidays - 50 where weather is very hot and difficult to study. Days left 263.

3. 8 hours daily sleep - 130 days GONE. Days left 141.

4. 1 hour for daily playing- (good for health) means 15 days. Days left 126.

5. 2 hours daily for food & other delicacies (chewing properly & swallowing) - means 30 days. Days left 96.

6. 1 hour for talking (man is a social animal) - means 15 days. Days left 81.

7. Exam days - per year at least 35 days. Days left 46.

8. Quarterly, half yearly and festival (holidays) - 40 days. Days left 6.

9. For sickness - at least 3 days. Days left 3.

10. Movies and functions- at least 2 days. 1 day left.

11. That 1 day is your birthday.

How can you study on that day ?!?!?!?!?!

Balance = 0'

Conclusion: How can a student pass ?????'

80th Aniversary

First thing first, exams is over. (Yay!)
From the darker point of view, that means PMR is near.
Well.

Today is the 80th anniversary of the Holy Name of Mary, the church of Permatang Tinggi. And there is a procession around the village of Permatang Tinggi just now. That would have been nice, if there wasn't any rains above our head. Apparently the rain start small, then get greater. And we had to walk for approximately 3 or more km with the rains splashing down on us. Not that I am complaining, but the walk was truly uncomfortable. The was thousands of people who took part and we had to squeeze in the narrow roads of the village. And I had to hold the umbrella over me and my mother, while the others umbrellas kept knocking mine. Not to mention the water pools that I keep treading into. Jeez.

On the way, my mother told me the meaning of the procession. She said we follow the Mother Mary (Her statue, carried by a few people, is taking the lead) means we are following the her ways and deeds. And the problems we face now is merely the challenge given by God. I rolled my eyes.

Afterwards we go to the party/gathering of our taman which were celebrating the.. the.. Mid-autumn festival? Not sure i got it right. There was not much food left and there was a lucky draw going on. Apparently we don't have the numbers for the draw as we came late. Therefore we went home after eating. Now come to think of it the MA festival is near. And I recalled the memories when I was playing with the lantern. Many many years ago.

On the other hand, the politics of Malaysia are getting worse nowadays. What with the Ahmad's saying, a few arrests and 916. Most don't believe what Anwar says about 916 in the early times. But after the 308 nothing seems impossible. The government last effort is to organize a trip for approximately 50 people to Taiwan. Imagine what a big expense that would be. Something that could be used to help the economies of our country. Especially in this tight time. Sigh.

Feeling sad for our country. Why don't they try to create a better country to leave in, rather than to fight for the power over a country that is falling back? And these are the people that we put our faith in, the people that are supposed to lead us, the people we choose? The so-called symbol of democracy?

Anyway, here is something I found while surfing the net.

See the building? Incredible design. Apparently this is one of the 10 wonders of China. The CCTV Headquarters, rising 54 storeys, is the world's second biggest office building, behind only the pentagon of USA. Wonder how we would feel if we are standing inside it.

I suppose I shall stop here. Just look at the bright side of everything. Stay optimistic. Have a happy Moon Festival everyone. =)

Exams

Arrrgh.
Next week is our trial exams. Less than 7 days left. And what had I done?

And still I am sitting in front of the computer. I really must do something for it. I have better dont touch this computer until the exams end. If I ever open this computer, a few precious hours will just waste away like that. But then, it is near impossible that I can stop this act. Sigh. Guess i would just have to try my best then. For the sake of the trials.

Now, the trial exams. It's not only about the final exams of JS which take up 50% marks. In fact, my mother told me that if, I repeat IF, our PMR papers is lost, they -the teachers or goverment?- wouldn't tell the students. They would just take your trials result for the PMR. That means the trial exams is something like a back-up for the PMR papers. If you get 70 in trials in BM and they lost the PMR paper for BM, they will just take the 70 for the PMR. Omg?

Have to start studying hard then. I better stop here. I still have Sej, KH, Science, Maths, Literature, Novel, Komsas, and lots of essays to take care of.

Exams is just a method of torturing.

T.T

God bless me.

P.S. The trials-PMR affair is just something i heard. Dont take it seriously. Maybe they DO tell you.

And good luck in your exams everyone. =)
