Today, my parents just went to Penang to sign up for the Penang Bridge Run. Apparently my whole family signed up, but I assume my fa and bro wouldn't run. My fa said he signed up just for the "gift", which is T-shirt and drinks. That leaves me and my mother.
On the same day, my mother insisted to train and be fit for the run. So she dragged me to Batu Kawan with a huge dataran. And so we ran. Just a few kms. My bro also brings along the badmintons racket and we played badminton. This is the first time I exercise and get some fresh air out of the house since so many weeks. Exercise is refreshing.
And...
Know what?
I get to drive the car! My fa sit beside me to tutor and 'look over' me. Still, all I did was rotating in the same area. My bro also get a shot. The place is wide, so we can do anything recklessly. =='
Driving is more complicated than I had thought. Knowledge on how to control the car doesn't help at all. Experience is the key. The engine stop numerous time because I release the clutch pedal too fast. Sometimes the car gave a huge spurt of speed because I press the gas pedal too much.
How can you control the force on your feet with your attention on the wheel and your eyes glued to the front anyway?
Enough of that. I am not 17 or even 16, let alone to drive the car. But then, it was an exciting experience. Driving is fun. xD

Bored
Nothing happens much around these days.
I had expected something more, after the exams, but no, everything moves on leisurely. Too leisurely, in fact, that I could have just be dreaming through the days with my eyes open.
Suddenly, unexpectedly, bizarrely, for the first time in my school life, I miss my school.
Miss everything there, especially my friends.
p/s I am changing the url. The more I looked at my previous one the weirder it sounds. http://zeeyang.blogspot.com/ is the new one.
Not that it matters. When you come here you will already have the new link.

Changes
Feeling great.
After I went home, all I need to think about is "How should I spent my time today?"
And not "Had I finished Bab 8?" or "Should I open the TV?" and "Oh no, I am lack of time!"
Nice.
The time in school just went on leisurely. Yesterday, a group of students were particularly sad about Jun Hong's departure. Some even cried. And I am not saying who.
But then, school gets really boring sometimes.
Maybe I could borrow some books to read. The books I read are rapidly decreasing. I swear I don't read more than 10 books this year. Raymond I am coming to your house for books, so, expect me.
Worrying about my PMR results. If I don't get 8A, my father will slay me for sure. But then, what's done, is done. So please, give me the best results I could get. -praying-
Feeling great, except for the results.
p.s. Many were asking about the RM70 cake. Ming Yin was the one who bought it. She said she would bought a cake, BUT she didn't said it was RM70. We divide the cost among the 1x of us. The worst is only some of the cake is eaten. Most of it was used for ... err... you know, playing.

After PMR
Before PMR I kept thinking that oh how I wish I could do this or that. Things that shouldnt be done because of PMR. Thousands of things is listed out in my mind that is scheduled to be done after PMR. But then, after PMR has truly pass, nothing seems so important or temptful to me now.
I am totally clueless about what I can do. Now.
Wait, how many PMRs i mentioned above? Things like this should be forgotten asap. I even heard people suggesting to keep the pink paper on the desk as a 'souvenir'. Swt. I wouldn't be touching my PMR papers from now.
Enough about that. Today we stay back in school because of Jun Hong. Those who don't know him here is a picture of him.
He is going to Singapore to study. Today, or i should say yesterday, is the last day that I can see him.
A cake for him. The cake costs RM70 and eventually it was smeared across his face.
His show-off pose. Wahahaha
He is leaving on 19th or 20th. I wouldn't be seeing him from now on. Good luck my friend. Farewell.

PMR
is just 2 weeks away.
My subconscious kept nagging me about that when I am typing this, or doing anything else that is unrelated to study.
The thing is, it is holiday now. NOW. Holidays aren't meant for reading things like Sej, Geo, Novel or anything that you are absolutely not interested. Well, maybe except this time.
The last time that I would go through Geo and KH books. No not Sej. Sej is compulsory in F4 and would still be haunting me along my studies. T.T
Anyway here is something amusing. You may seen this before as it is something popular.
=========================================================
It's not the fault of student if he/she fails because the year ONLY has 365 days...
typical academic year for a student:
1. Sundays - 52 Sundays in a year, you know Sundays are for rest. Days left 313.
2. Summer holidays - 50 where weather is very hot and difficult to study. Days left 263.
3. 8 hours daily sleep - 130 days GONE. Days left 141.
4. 1 hour for daily playing- (good for health) means 15 days. Days left 126.
5. 2 hours daily for food & other delicacies (chewing properly & swallowing) - means 30 days. Days left 96.
6. 1 hour for talking (man is a social animal) - means 15 days. Days left 81.
7. Exam days - per year at least 35 days. Days left 46.
8. Quarterly, half yearly and festival (holidays) - 40 days. Days left 6.
9. For sickness - at least 3 days. Days left 3.
10. Movies and functions- at least 2 days. 1 day left.
11. That 1 day is your birthday.
How can you study on that day ?!?!?!?!?!
Balance = 0'
Conclusion: How can a student pass ?????'

80th Aniversary
First thing first, exams is over. (Yay!)
From the darker point of view, that means PMR is near.
Well.
Today is the 80th anniversary of the Holy Name of Mary, the church of Permatang Tinggi. And there is a procession around the village of Permatang Tinggi just now. That would have been nice, if there wasn't any rains above our head. Apparently the rain start small, then get greater. And we had to walk for approximately 3 or more km with the rains splashing down on us. Not that I am complaining, but the walk was truly uncomfortable. The was thousands of people who took part and we had to squeeze in the narrow roads of the village. And I had to hold the umbrella over me and my mother, while the others umbrellas kept knocking mine. Not to mention the water pools that I keep treading into. Jeez.
On the way, my mother told me the meaning of the procession. She said we follow the Mother Mary (Her statue, carried by a few people, is taking the lead) means we are following the her ways and deeds. And the problems we face now is merely the challenge given by God. I rolled my eyes.
Afterwards we go to the party/gathering of our taman which were celebrating the.. the.. Mid-autumn festival? Not sure i got it right. There was not much food left and there was a lucky draw going on. Apparently we don't have the numbers for the draw as we came late. Therefore we went home after eating. Now come to think of it the MA festival is near. And I recalled the memories when I was playing with the lantern. Many many years ago.
On the other hand, the politics of Malaysia are getting worse nowadays. What with the Ahmad's saying, a few arrests and 916. Most don't believe what Anwar says about 916 in the early times. But after the 308 nothing seems impossible. The government last effort is to organize a trip for approximately 50 people to Taiwan. Imagine what a big expense that would be. Something that could be used to help the economies of our country. Especially in this tight time. Sigh.
Feeling sad for our country. Why don't they try to create a better country to leave in, rather than to fight for the power over a country that is falling back? And these are the people that we put our faith in, the people that are supposed to lead us, the people we choose? The so-called symbol of democracy?
Anyway, here is something I found while surfing the net.

See the building? Incredible design. Apparently this is one of the 10 wonders of China. The CCTV Headquarters, rising 54 storeys, is the world's second biggest office building, behind only the pentagon of USA. Wonder how we would feel if we are standing inside it.
I suppose I shall stop here. Just look at the bright side of everything. Stay optimistic. Have a happy Moon Festival everyone. =)

Exams
Arrrgh.
Next week is our trial exams. Less than 7 days left. And what had I done?
And still I am sitting in front of the computer. I really must do something for it. I have better dont touch this computer until the exams end. If I ever open this computer, a few precious hours will just waste away like that. But then, it is near impossible that I can stop this act. Sigh. Guess i would just have to try my best then. For the sake of the trials.
Now, the trial exams. It's not only about the final exams of JS which take up 50% marks. In fact, my mother told me that if, I repeat IF, our PMR papers is lost, they -the teachers or goverment?- wouldn't tell the students. They would just take your trials result for the PMR. That means the trial exams is something like a back-up for the PMR papers. If you get 70 in trials in BM and they lost the PMR paper for BM, they will just take the 70 for the PMR. Omg?
Have to start studying hard then. I better stop here. I still have Sej, KH, Science, Maths, Literature, Novel, Komsas, and lots of essays to take care of.
Exams is just a method of torturing.
T.T
God bless me.
P.S. The trials-PMR affair is just something i heard. Dont take it seriously. Maybe they DO tell you.
And good luck in your exams everyone. =)
